Terms of Service

By purchasing, activating, or using a FindPaws tag, website, or services, you agree to these Terms.

FindPaws provides NFC and QR-enabled pet identification tags and associated pet profile services.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep account credentials secure
• Maintain up-to-date contact details
• Use the service lawfully

You are responsible for the information displayed on your pet’s profile.

FindPaws profiles are intended solely for genuine pet identification and to help reunite pets with their owners. You must not upload, submit, display or share any content that:

• Is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity
• Is sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic or fetish-related
• Is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or promotes violence
• Sexualises, endangers or exploits any person, or references any minor in an inappropriate way
• Is defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, or impersonates another person
• Infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party
• Contains another person’s personal information without their consent
• Is not a genuine pet profile, or misuses the service for any purpose it is not intended for
• Contains external links, URLs, web addresses, or content that directs users to other websites or services
• Contains malware, spam, or attempts to interfere with or compromise the service or its users

You confirm that any content you submit is your own or that you have the right to submit it, and that it complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove, hide, disable or edit any content, and deactivate any tag or profile, that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or applicable law.

We may also suspend or terminate your account, and withhold or withdraw access to the service, where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Where a breach is serious - including the posting of unlawful or prohibited content - we may do so immediately and without a refund, to the extent permitted by law.

We may retain limited records of removed content and related account information where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, keep our service safe, resolve disputes, or comply with our legal obligations.

If you believe a profile breaches these Terms, please report it to us at support@findpaws.co and we will review it.

If you believe your account or a profile was wrongfully restricted or suspended, please reach out to us at support@findpaws.co and we will review the decision.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer where they apply.

FindPaws helps facilitate communication between finders and pet owners.

We do not guarantee:

• Recovery of lost pets
• Continuous availability of services
• Successful scans of tags

All FindPaws branding, logos, website content, software, and materials remain our property.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindPaws shall not be liable for:

• Lost pets
• Indirect damages
• Consequential damages
• Loss of profits
• Service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights provided under UK consumer law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse the platform
• Engage in fraudulent activity

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Changes apply from the date they are posted, and your continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
